We had a wonderful start to the Monthly Art Club, creating individual canvas bags to keep our new sketchbooks in followed by a lovely shared lunch.

As this is a new group we started by playing the connections game which drew lines that connected us all. Doodles with oil pastels were then painted for the wax resist effect. When this is dry it can be used as collage material or to add into the sketchbooks.

The focus of this group is to examine the artistic process by sketchbooking, trying various art techniques and a lot of experimenting. Exciting to see where this leads.
