An antidote to valentines day
21/02/25

We had a lovely session on 14 February at Hollybush Conservation Centre, making St Brigid’s crosses and decorating some pottery bowls in a relay challenge.
Snowdrops and daffodil bulbs were given out to all the group and we talked about snowdrop folklore, the history of chocolate and random acts of kindness as an antidote to the commercialism of Valentine’s Day.
Drink of the week was a blackberry and chocolate latte.
