We are delighted to have been awarded funding of £371,745 from the National Lottery Community Fund for our three year programme ‘Home from Home’ – welcoming people back to the Skippko home after the pandemic.

The programme will have people taking the lead as a driving force, with our aim to ‘build a community which supports each other, where people can express themselves through creative activities, share their stories and learn more about themselves and each other.’

Year One starts April 23 with projects developed and designed from feedback and requests from community participants over the last couple of years.

We’ll also be running a series of ‘pop up’ sessions during the year where we will consult with community groups and new partners who have an idea for a project. Please get in touch if you have an idea for a creative project or want to explore some ideas with our artist facilitators.

For information on individual projects under ‘Home from Home’ please see ‘Our Work’.
