Home from Home, National Lottery Community Fund 3 year programme

We are delighted to have been awarded funding of £371,745 from the National Lottery Community Fund for our three year programme ‘Home from Home’ – welcoming people back to the Skippko home after the pandemic.
The programme will have people taking the lead as a driving force, with our aim to ‘build a community which supports each other, where people can express themselves through creative activities, share their stories and learn more about themselves and each other.’
Year One started April 23 with projects developed and designed from feedback and requests from community participants over the previous couple of years.
Year Two in April 24 has seen projects forming out of participants feedback and interests during year one, including a new Monthly Art Club, continuation of Under the Canopy and R&D projects exploring identity through photography and participants trying out performance for the first time.
Year Three in April 25 will continue to see projects that have been developed with participants….
