As part of our ‘Home from Home’ programme we are holding sharing days to celebrate the work created, for participants to meet each other and to consult with participants about what they want next.

During year one we had sharing days for the Community Research Team, Under the Canopy members and the Camera-arderies. We also had a wonderful Sharing Day in April 24 with all our Home from Home year one participants.

Our day in April was filled with creating art, asset mapping, tarot readings, and sharing skills and knowledge, plus some amazing soup provided by https://www.bilberrybee.co.uk/.

We had our 2nd sharing day in October 24 looking at the Gift – what gifts do people bring to Skippko and what gift do they gain from Skippko. Ideas were brought to life through mini me mannequins, poetry, tarot and an A to Z of Skippko…

“Skippko has brought me back to life! How amazing you all are and I don’t think you realise what you do for us, mentally and physically! A cuppa, bread and soup, a meeting, socialising and creating. BUT SO MUCH MORE. Hopefully never ending. A GREAT BIG THANKYOU!”

“You have no idea how these creative sessions have helped me. I have made lots of new connections with like minded people. I feel so much more positive about the future. With skippko I feel a lot less isolated/lonely.”

“Just wanted to say, I’ve had a wonderful day with you guys today.”
