Thanks to a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund we facilitated a heritage project ‘Women Reflecting on Women, are we there yet?‘

During 2019 Skippko artists worked in communities to research and gather the stories of lesser known women who were involved in the fight for suffrage at the turn of the 20^th century.

Participants from 13 different community groups learnt about Leeds working class women, before exploring their own heritage stories.

We held an exhibition of all the work created in 2021.
