Thanks to a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund we will be starting work on a year long heritage project ‘Women Reflecting on Women, are we there yet?‘

During 2019 Skippko artists will be working in communities to research and gather the stories of lesser known women who were involved in the fight for suffrage at the turn of the 20^th century.

Participants from 13 different community groups will learn about Leeds working class women, before exploring their own heritage stories.

We will be using visual art techniques alongside writing and audio recordings to create an exhibition sharing those stories with the public.
