Pages from Leeds
04/08/23
Pages from Leeds is one of our ‘Home from Home’ projects with group members creating hand made books, exploring the stories of Leeds people through creative writing and visual arts.
Our group members had a fantastic tour of ‘The Leeds Library’. Founded in 1768, The Leeds Library is a gem of a heritage library and the oldest surviving subscription library of its kind in the British Isles.

From tiny books to ghost stories, the group had a fantastic time and a warm welcome by library staff.
Following the library tour, group members put on their headsets and followed ‘Stirring up the past’ audio trail in Leeds City Centre.
The audio trail is free for anyone to follow. See the details here https://www.stirringupthepast.org/
