Anthony Haddon
Artist

Anthony set up and ran Theatre Company Blah Blah Blah in Leeds from 1985 to 2014 specialising in theatre for children and young people. During that time, he worked closely with playwrights, designers, musicians and performers to create thirty five touring shows many of them new work and original adaptions. Since 2014 he has worked as a freelance theatre maker, performer, workshop designer for Opera North, Bradford Museums, Leeds Playhouse, Alive and Kicking Theatre, Tell Tale Hearts Theatre and Theaterhaus Enesmble.
Anthony has been working with Skippko since 2021 in helping to find the meeting point between performance and the rich breadth of art forms which are so well embedded into the companies’ work with community groups. He sees this as a fantastic opportunity to explore performance art where visual art can be combined and mixed into live performance. A small performance group has emerged in the Performing and Making group which Anthony co-runs with Emma Baim, they are easily identifiable in their blue boiler suits.
