Under the Canopy is a touch colder at the moment but our hardy participants are braving the elements to enjoy the great outdoors at Hollybush Conservation Centre.
We’ve created our own birds from pine cones and bits collected from the garden, made apple and sunflower seed bird feeders and fat ball holders to take home.
We had a bird themed songs and folklore and a ‘guess the collective noun’ quiz and a red themed spiced cranberry drink.

A wonderfull group poem….

A palette of parrots

A strut of coots

A clatter of crossbills

A peacefulness of doves,

A battering of bullfinches

A butchery of buzzards

A quirkiness of budgerigars

A quackery of ducks

A flattery of peacocks

An elegance of flamingos

A vibration of hummingbirds

A hovering of hen harriers

An abstraction of artists

A togetherness of members

Under the Canopy.

A fun start too with a team challenge to make a bridge from one chair to another with the maize packaging nuggets.
And making some natural room deodorisers, using soothing essential oils and bicarb.
The group also had a great trip to see Babes in the Wood, starring Abi….
And a few images from November and December, including wool birds and fairy doors and keys….
